Our Sports Therapy service is aimed at keeping active bodies functioning at their best, treating sprains, strains, aches or pains that can occur from any kind of physical activity, and providing injury prevention or rehabilitation exercises.
We use a variety of techniques such as massage, stretching, acupuncture, mobilisation, manipulation (clicking of joints) as well as giving self-management advise on how to best manage your body through education and coaching strategies.
we treat a variety of patients of all ages, from elite athletes competing internationally, recreational exercises and gym users, or patients in their later years just wanting to enjoy their retirement.

Sports injuries should be assessed, diagnosed and treated as soon as possible to help speed up recovery times and get back to full fitness.

What To Expect
Your first appointment will involve a discussion about your pain and discomfort, and what outcomes you are hoping to achieve through working with your practitioner. There will also with a medical screen to help fully understand your problem and overall health, followed by a detailed physical assessment of your problem and underlying causes. The findings of the assessment and diagnosis will then be discussed with you, along with what the plan will involve moving forward, such as what to expect form treatment and how many may be needed. Treatment will also be included in the initial consultation.

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing suited for the gym or light activity. We know this isn’t always possible and can usually work around your needs.
